How to develop a social media strategy in 2020

What is social media management and why it is important in 2020?
Today, we will cover how to make a full social media strategy from zero to hero especially in a generation that is very dependent on all social media platforms.
The easiest way of developing a social media strategy is actually thinking of how you can deliver value and quality content to your specific niche audience. In addition to finding the right solutions for the problems that you will face during your management since not all plans can go 100% just like you want it.
Now we will be discussing the best tips for a successful social media strategy :
1. What are your overall first impressions of this platform? (Look at everything, banner, posts, profile picture, anything else that you notice? Write down the good and areas of opportunity that you notice at first glance.) Are the profile photos and banners following brand standards?
2. What's the engagement like? Could it be better? What's the engagement like vs the reach?
3. Do you have any recommendations on how the engagement could be improved for this client?
4. Is the client sharing curated content or only brand-specific posts? If the client is not sharing any curated content, make a note of this.
5. (If applicable) Is the client using hashtags? If you plan on including hashtag suggestions for them, you may include them here. Later.com is great for hashtag research.
6. What is the audience demographic on each platform? Knowing their audience will help you create content relevant and appealing to them. Based on their avatar and the activity on each platform, are they focusing on the right places? Remember that not everyone is everywhere.
7. Post recommendations, what type of content do you recommend for this client. Feel free to create some content ideas for the client.
8. Don't forget about seasonal content. Based on you or your client's needs, will your strategy be similar year-round, or will you be doing seasonal product launches, etc.?
9. Long-term sustainable traffic & SEO. Make a list of the types of content that you can create to drive long-term, organic traffic to your website and offers. How many SEO optimized-articles will you share? Will you leverage Pinterest? Will you be posting on YouTube? SEO and searchability is a vital part of any social media strategy. Paid efforts are great, but you don't want to rely solely on paid marketing.
10. Create a content repurposing strategy. For example, one blog post or one video can become multiple pieces of content. What that looks like is different for any business, but one example could be: One YouTube video becomes a blog post, three Instagram stories, an IGTV video, seven various video pins, three social media posts for Facebook, two LinkedIn posts and more.
